What We Do
Phase 1 – Main Chassis Extension
The structural integrity of the chassis used is maintained, and enhanced, during the extension phase of the process. A precision tooled chassis support system elevates the chassis and locks it into place prior to the cutting process. The chassis is marked and cut along specially engineered lines into two sections.
The front half of the chassis remains locked in place, the rear half is rolled back along gauged tracks to a predetermined length and locked into place with steel dowel pins. This provides precise and consistent placing of the chassis for reassembly.
The main frame extensions are matched to chassis dimensions and attached to the chassis with precise weld patterns. This allows the frame to be stronger than the original. The overall strength is further enhanced by the addition of a structured roll cage which also gives the vehicle the appearance of a hearse.
Offline, round tubing of high strength steel is welded together and installed on the chassis during the main frame build process. The initial main frame construction process is critical to the quality and durability of the vehicle and adds to the beauty as the vehicle progresses in the production process.

Phase 2 – Body Panels & Paint
In this phase, the funeral vehicle begins to take shape. The main body structure is a composite material that molds the vehicle into a hearse or limousine. The structure is attached to the substructure with a high-strength adhesive for a strong and durable union of the body panel and chassis. While the outer surface of the panels are paintable, state of the art finishing materials are applied to eliminate any imperfections on the surface of the body.
Accubuilt uses Axalta (formerly DuPont), a world class prime and paint system. Through Axalta, Accubuilt offers a limited lifetime warranty on the paint system. To insure the highest quality, an Axalta trained representative is on-site at Accubuilt during production hours to mix paint.
The buffing and polishing process brings out the deep luster of the paint and clear coat. Our highly-skilled team applies years of experience to every vehicle. Buffing and polishing is an art and we employ some of the best artisans in the industry to execute the process to perfection.
